Technical Assistance

Technical Assistance is targeted support to an agency, organization, or community regarding mental health law. The JCMH delivers technical support in many ways, including:

  • Professional peer networking: JCMH can connect judges and attorneys who handle mental health cases to others in a similar role for networking, assistance in troubleshooting challenges, and developing knowledge and insights.
  • Support for mental health courts, including the Mental Health Courts Collaborative;
  • Sequential Intercept Model mapping workshops; and
  • Expert consultation: Do you need assistance navigating a complex mental health laws? JCMH staff, Commissioners, and Collaborative Council may be able to assist you with the statute or case law in question.
